Race Date: Saturday 02 March 2013

Race course is a 17km loop, starting and finishing at the Amuri A&P Showgrounds in Rotherham. The course is mostly on private land, and is only available to ride on race day. A two-lap option (34km) is available for those people who enter in the Stud category.

Entries: must be on the official entry form, with your entry fee, (cheques, online, credit card) and received prior to the closing date of Friday 22nd February 2013.
Direct credit can be made into the Ram Ride account 03 1592 0556655 00 with your name as the reference. Please allow 3-5 days for post to reach Waiau.
Your entry is only confirmed when payment has been received.
Entry fee for adults (19 years and over) is $35, for children (13-18) $25 and family $75. The family entry is defined as three or more related people. A late entry fee of $10 will be added for all entries after 22nd February. Please enter by 22nd February and save yourself $10.
Refunds will be given up to the closing date of 22nd February, minus $10 admin fee. No refunds will be given after this date.
Registration will be at the Amuri A&P Showgrounds from 8:00-8:30am on Saturday 2nd March, next to the mountain bike parking area. You will receive your race number and final details at registration. Please register early and do not attempt to do so while the race briefing is taking place!
Parking is at the back of the A&P Showgrounds, on Davison Rd, next to the horse float parking. Please follow the signs to the Amuri A&P Show in Rotherham, then follow the signs for “Mountain Bike Parking”. Please park as directed.
Race briefing will take place at the start/finish line at 8:45am. All competitors must be present for race briefing.
Start time is 9am. The start is Le Mans (massed), for all competitors.
Race number. Please ensure your race number is clearly visible at all stages during the race and when entering the finish chute.
Drinks, toilets and markers: There will be a water tanker parked at the halfway mark on the course from which you can fill your bottles. It is strongly recommended that you carry at least one bottle, preferably two, on your bike, or a hydration backpack. Toilets are located within the A&P Showgrounds. There are no toilets on the race course. The race course will be marked with orange flags and tape, and on the grassy areas the track will be mown. Please look out for markers. There will be marshalls located around the course.
Prize giving will be at approximately 12pm in the main Show ring. Spot prizes will be distributed at the Start/Finish line.

Amuri Show Entry is included in the entry fee. Non-racing car passengers will be charged entry to the A&P show.

Conditions of Entry
1.    All competitors compete at their own risk, and the organisers will not accept liability for any personal injury or mishap during the race.
2.    All competitors must be of sufficient fitness to complete the course that they enter.
3.    Organisers reserve the right to withdraw from the race any competitor who shows signs of severe fatigue or injury during the race.
4.    All competitors must dress sufficiently for the conditions and weather likely to be experienced during the race.
5.    The event will be held in all weather conditions unless these are so extreme that the course becomes dangerous. In this instance the organisers reserve the right to retain all entry fees.
6.    Competitors must obey all course marshals, and follow the route as described and marked by the race organisers.
7.    Competitors must wear their race number fixed to the front of their bike, to be visible at all times, and ensure it is recorded at the finish.
8.    All competitors must attend the race briefing.
9.   All competitors must sign the indemnity on the entry form, which states that you have read, understood, and agree to these conditions of entry.
